Water Conservation
Kalahari Resorts conserves water with low-flow showerheads, which save 2.5 million gallons of water annually, an ozone laundry system, and energy-efficient dishwashing. Additionally, our Wisconsin Dells resort has 4,160 square feet of rooftop solar panels, which help heat guest room water.
Recycling
Kalahari Resorts prioritizes sustainability with resort-wide recycling, extensive use of recycled paper products, and baling cardboard for recycling. The Wisconsin Dells location alone has recycled over 1,100 tons of cardboard, showcasing its eco-friendly commitment.
Resort Climate
Kalahari Resorts enhances sustainability with digital thermostats in guest rooms for efficient temperature control and fans in the waterpark to reduce heating costs and minimize the carbon footprint.
Energy Conservation
Our resorts are committed to sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly LED lighting to reduce energy consumption. Motion-sensing lighting controls are utilized throughout the properties, ensuring efficiency by minimizing unnecessary energy use. Additionally, high-efficiency heating and cooling systems are employed to condition spaces.
